Charlie Collins
Managing Director
Charlie has over twenty years experience in the Information, Communication Technology (ICT) sector
having previously worked within the construction industry as a Quantity Surveyor until the late '80s.
His experience includes implementing software solutions for the Home Office, ICI, NEC, New Millennium Experience
(The Millennium Dome) and the East India Dock Company to name but a few. Initially Charlie was responsible for
the sales and marketing of the business, but he will be stepping back from this role over the coming months - now
Vince McConville has joined the team - and focusing on driving the business forward, giving the team the freedom
to explore new technologies and inspiring them.
Grant Bagwell
Technical Director
Grant joined the business in 2005 having graduated from Portsmouth University and became a director when the
business incorporated in September 2008. Grant is the driving force behind Golem - our unique framework that
our web based applications and websites are built upon - and is responsible for keeping up with new
technologies, ensuring Ayrmer Software continues to delivery robust, stable applications for businesses.
Vince McConville
Sales & Marketing Director
Vince has worked within the IT sector for a number of years and brings with him a breadth & depth of
knowledge that will strengthen our senior management team. He graduated in Law from University of
Glamorgan and has worked for Meyer International, Efdex (B2B ecommerce trading platform), Lawtel (Online Legal Information),
ICC Information (Online Business Information), Rokk Internet Marketing, before joining Peninsula Enterprise to
work on the Business Link service, where as a SFEDI accredited Business Advisor. He worked with businesses
across the South West of England, helping them get the most of technology and the web.
Trisha Collins
Director / Company Secretary
Trisha has come on board to help with the back office support and administration and has also undertaken the role of company secretary. It really helps to have a fresh pair of eyes to look at the business and she has proved invaluable.
Alex Otero
Software Developer / Designer
Alex worked with us as a freelance designer on a couple of projects, before joining the team in August 2011. We were very impressed, not only by her design skills, but also her work ethic whilst working with us as a freelancer. You'll start seeing Alex's work very soon with the completion of a couple of projects in Autumn 2011.
Dean Vannon
Software Devloper (Work Experince)
Dean has been working with the team for the last couple of months whilst completing his second year at Plymouth University (FdSc in Computing) and has been involved in the development of the new Goonvean Fibres Content Management System, working along side Charlie.
Simon Curr
System Administrator
Simon looks after our internal systems as well as a number of our clients and is an certified Linux systems administrator. He has over ten years of experience having previously worked for Motorola, amongst others. Simon has recently installed a new Voice over IP (VoIP) system that had helped us to significantly reduce our costs and improved our telephone systems. He has also helped create an infrastructure that has allowed us to expand into Europe with offices in Slovkia.
