national council for voluntary youth services (ncvys) website launched
We initially developed a new content management system
for The National Council for Voluntary Youth Services (NVCYS) as
a joint project with The National Council of Voluntary Child Care Organisations (NCVCCO) in 2006. NCVYS had a long
list of business requirements, many of them un-defined and to some extent represented red herrings. The final solution
included a content managment system, client relationship management system, membership database, various e-delivery systems
(including newsletters, blogs and e-bulletins), membership area and internal calendar and email client.
During 2008 NCVYS asked us to extend the functionality and integrate a new design (created by their creative team). The
work was completed within budget and well within the initial schedule.
The new look calendar enabled staff to start using
the internal calendar (as shown below) which can be viewed by day, week and month. The multi-view option allows staff to view
everyone's appointments at the same time, making it far easier to schedule group meetings.
