web development :: project information management systems
We have developed a number of systems allowing publicly funded projects to provide management information
to share holders and funders. The original system was devloped for the "Devon ArtsCulture" project and then adapted
for the "Tourism and Creative Skills for Success" project.
Both systems allowed the project management team to record beneficiaries
registrations and then manage funding being released to individuals and / or organisations. Both projects were
based upon a series of targets that had to be reported upon each quarter and the system enabled the county council to
prepare returns that had to be submitted to funding bodies throughout the project duration.
The "Devon ArtsCulture" project was run from two centres, one in South Devon at Dartington Hall and the other based
in North Devon at Beaford Arts Centre. The system allowed the two project managers to work closely together and avoid
duplicate registrations made to both centres. The system also provided functionality allowing the project team to export data
recorded within the system, so that the beneficiaries information could be used for mailing purposes as well as a number of
statistical analysis reports.
Last year we developed a third version of the system for the "South West Music School" project which is aimed at promoting
excellence within the South West of England. The project is a collaboration of a number of organisations including Wells
Cathedral School amongst others.
